I am currently finishing my Masters Of Education at Marymount University. For the past 9 years I have been an Instructional Assistant in a mixed age kindergarten/first grade classroom at Hunters Woods School for the Arts and Sciences in Reston, Virginia. I have a passion for teaching and for making each child’s day worthwhile. I am especially interested in integrating art and technology into the curriculum, gifted education, and educational psychology. In addition to teaching, I love reading, swimming, biking, hiking, art, gardening, and traveling. My family is looking forward to a bike trip to Prague and Vienna this summer. My husband, Scott, has a Phd. in artificial intelligence and often helps me with computer projects. We have two teenagers and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
